“As I received my diploma, I knew that this is the moment I have been waiting for, a chapter of my life that needs an end yet another new chapter of my Life that was about to begin”

It was a rainy afternoon, and my Mom hasn’t been home yet coz she’s in the salon and as if she was the one who will stand in the stage and receive “my” Diploma! Almost all of my classmates and friends are there at the PICC Complex and I am waiting here in our house irritated and thinking what will be the consequences if we arrived late in PICC. (I was thinking that I’ll miss the graduation march and that’s one of the my most memorable experiences of my High school life and because of my mother that is still inside the salon, that won’t never ever gonna happen!)

Finally she arrived with a different hair style than before. Her hair was straighten up and have small curls at the end, her make-up makes her unrecognizeable to us, like she’s really the one that will attend the ceremony. Then I immediately told her that we only have a few hours before the ceremony starts. Then she packed all things that we needed and we immediately go inside the car.

We were on our way when I started to receive GMs of my friends that they were inside the Hall and some texted me that its traffic around Coastal Road. We weren’t even there yet! I’m really nervous if we can make it in time. It’s quite traffic in Coastal Road but we passed by it in no time. Haay!! Finally we were near at PICC and it started to rain, we forgot to bring the umbrella so we rushed in the rain and went to the PICC Lobby. There are still students waiting outside I said to myself “Thank God we’re not Late! Hahah”

With 30 minutes remaining we immediately went to the hall that is assigned to us, my mom and my brother find their own seats while I fall in line and wait before the ceremony starts. As the Graduating Ceremony starts I was armed with my Digi-cam and captured the very last moments of being a High school student, captured best shots of my colleagues as I watched them received their fruit of hard work. When it was my turn, I felt a sudden relief where in I realized that every thing that I went through was worth it. And I asked my self, “Is this the end?” NO, it is not. It is a start of a new beginning where it opens the doors of opportunities and a new room to grow.

High school Life is indeed the BEST!! :D
